Friends and Family of Kristi and Aria Dulce Shepherd (Ben and Kristi's daughter),
We have all been fortunate in sharing the life, love and passion that surrounded Kristi throughout the time we were lucky enough to have shared with her. Her remarkable ability to connect with everyone she met and her drive to help us all be better people are qualities we should celebrate and carry with us always.
In keeping with these beliefs, her family would like to continue this legacy of love through a fund, the Kristi Hansen Fund, expressly created for helping people of St. John who are in need of the assistance she would have selflessly given. Replacing the grace she showed us all is impossible, but trying to continue the always giving attitude is something we can strive to do in her memory.
We have received phone calls and messages asking what help can be given. Our simple desire is that friends wishing to express their condolences consider in lieu of flowers, making a contribution to the Kristi Hansen Fund; helping us to continue Kristi's passion of putting others before herself.
